Day 2: The Macaron Crusts
From My 6-Figure Candle Recipes
Ingredients in Ratio:
400g Soy Wax + Grade A White Beeswax ( beeswax content 50-70%)
(Ratio Soy Wax to Beeswax, in Summer 1:1, Winter 8:2, Spring & Fall 7:3)
5-10% Essential/Fragrance Oil of used wax weight
<0.4% Macaron Color Set of used wax weight
Tools:
Large Macaron Mold (Round), Large Macaron Mold (Heart)
Heater, Melting Cup, Heat Gun, Thermometer, Measuring Spoons, Scale, Measuring Cups, Craft Knife, etc.
Tips:
Use Macaron Color Set/non-penetrated dye to prevent color penetration.
Recommend wax temperature when pouring to mold. Summer 185F/85C, Winter 200F/95C.
To prevent bubbles, before pouring into the mold, use a heat gun to warm the silicone molds.
Put the melting cup on the heater when coloring, it will speed up the process.
